Steve Swallow graduated from
Nottingham University with a joint
honours degree in Chemical
Engineering and Materials
Engineering and joined Precision
Ceramics in 1992 shortly after the
company was formed.
Precision Ceramics merged with
RTL and McGeoch to form
McGeoch Technology Ltd with
Steve as the General Manger
Steve became Managing Director
in 2006
He has worked with technical
ceramics for over 24 years and,
has extensive experience in the
design, application and use of
technical ceramics, in a wide
range of applications such as
aerospace, medical, industrial and
scientific research.
Steve gained an MBA from Aston
University in 2010, achieving a
distinction and graduating with a
Beta Gama Sigma award. He is a
Member of the Institute of
Materials (MIM)
Steve is also President of
Precision Ceramics USA, Inc
based in Tampa, Florida.

John D’Ambrogio graduated from
the University of Liverpool with an
honours degree in Engineering in
1987.
After graduating, John joined the
Delta Group and spent two years
working on an Engineering
Graduate Scheme. He then
worked for MEM Switchgear for 7
years before joining RTL Limited
(a subsidiary of Delta) in
Birmingham as Operations
Manager.
John became Managing Director
of McGeoch Technology in 2006.
He has wide experience in
manufacturing engineering,
operation and sales and is a both
a Chartered Engineer and a
Member of the Institute of
Technology (MIET)
John gained an MBA from Aston
University in 2010, achieving a
distinction and graduating with a
Beta Gama Sigma Award.
He also spearheaded the
development of LED lighting
within the business which led to
the formation of McGeoch LED
Technology in 2009.

John D’Ambrogio
Nayyer Hussain graduated from
the London School of Economics
(London University) with an
honours degree in Economics in
1983.
After graduating, he became a
Manager in the Citibank
Leveraged Lending Unit
focussing on MBU’s and MBI’s
and levered acquisition. Nayyer
then joined the Cundell Group as
Financial Controller before
supporting his brother, Dr Sohail
Amer, in the establishment of the
McGeoch Group, initially by the
buyout of Precision Ceramics and
subsequently with McGeoch
Technology. He also co-founded
McGeoch Marine Electricals in
India.
Nayyer has been a Hanson Best
Young Manager Finalist and is
currently Vice-Chairman of
McGeoch Technology Limited
and a Director of McGeoch Marine
Electricals.
He has in-depth experience in
medium sized business mergers
and acquisitions in the UK, India
and Europe and is a fluent
speaker in English, Italian and
conversational Urdu.

Dr Amer obtained his doctorate
from Southampton University
Medical School before joining
IBM.
When he left IBM as Branch
Manager he founded INFOREM
Plc with three others and grew it
to a $18m corporation. INFOREM
was sold to Computer Sciences
Inc in 1989.
He worked for CSC as European
Sales Director for two years
before using his re-engineering
skills to acquire and re engineer
Precision Ceramics, McGeoch,
RTL, William White and others to
form the current McGeoch
Technology Group of which he is
Chairman.
He also has interest in other
offshore operations.
